French Vintage Glass Pendant Ceiling Lampshade, Period Ceiling Light (A98)

This is a French vintage glass ceiling pendant lampshade now up cycled with new twisted vintage style wiring with a vintage brass gallery and UK standard bulb holder. This is a milky/clear white glass with a blue trim. The new bulb holder takes a standard UK bayonet bulb. This pendant light is in a good used condition as shown with a tiny knick on the inside rim, this cannot be seen from the outside of the shade but is worth a mention. This is not a factory made shade, it is handmade so may have some bubbles in the glass from the making process, these are not cracks, just part of the vintage making process. It was bought at a traditional French brocante market. This is not sold with a ceiling rose as the French roses are usually much smaller than standard UK versions. This can be wired straight into an existing rose or a new one which are readily available at any DIY shop. There is a small selection of vintage porcelain roses in the lighting section of the shop. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, in the case of lights like these this may mean flaws in the glass during the making process, eg. bubbles. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
