This is a French handmade ceramic olive jar with a glazed painted finish. It has a sit-on lid with a cut out for a spoon or fork and is a French country style jar, perfect for storing olives. This is in good condition with no cracks or chips; it has the makers mark on the base and the lid; it would a charming addition to any country or cottage style farmhouse kitchen. This is a genuine French brocante find bought at a traditional market in the North of France.
All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life; any flaws are highlighted in both the pictures and the description. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
