French Vintage Lions Head Handle Onion Soup Serving Pot, Soup Tureen, 4 litre (B84)

This is a large French traditional soup serving tureen with lion head handles and a 4 litre capacity. These are usually found as small one person bowls, these larger serving tureens with the lions head handles are quite hard to come by especially still in tact with no chips or cracks. This was purchased at a traditional French brocante market and would suit a French style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or bistro. Equally, this would be great if you already have some of the smaller lions head bowls. This is in a good used condition with just a couple of light marks on the outside as you would expect from an older item. These type of dishes were usually used for French onion. As all the items we sell are used or vintage they will often show signs of a previous life in a French home. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal rather than flaws or faults.
