French Lions Head Soup Bowls, Pair of Traditional Onion Soup Bowls (B94)

This is a pair of French traditional soup serving dishes; with little lion head handles traditionally used for serving French onion soup. They are small serving bowls all labelled Soupe a L'oignon - French for Onion Soup. These ceramic soup bowls were purchased at a traditional French brocante market although made in Taiwan, and would suit a French style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or bistro. We have more soup bowls in varying designs as these on our other listings. These are each made individually so the drip glaze will vary slightly in each bowl. They are in a good used condition with just a tiny pin head size nibble to one rim as shown; they have a drip glaze making each one just a little unique. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
