French Vintage Long Handled Brass Cider Cups, Measuring Jugs, Home Barware (A18)

This French brocante find is a charming set of 6 French vintage long handled brass measuring cups known as cider cups. Each cup has a rustic brass plaque on the front with a measure. These jugs would look good in a farmhouse style kitchen or home bar. They were bought at a traditional market in France and are in a good condition with a polished finish. These are known as cider measures as they have a longer handle enabling them to be dipped into a larger tub to select a specific amount of fluid, traditionally cider.
All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is all part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. It is not always possible to show every minor scratch on a photo so if you are looking for new then these may not be for you. Any significant flaws are always highlighted in both photos and descriptions.
