French Vintage Copper Frying Pan, 2mm Copper Saute, Brand New Tin Lining (A64)

This is a lovely French solid copper saute frying pan with a polished copper finish and brand new traditional hand wiped tin lining. The brand new hand wiped tin lining makes it long lasting and gives this pan a "new to you" feel; you will be the first person to cook with this new lining. The new tin lining is traditionally applied using the age old hand wiping method, it is not machine applied electroplating and is meant to have a more rustic appearance. This needs no preparation to use, it is ready to cook with straight away. Just to have a pan this size re-tinned would costs over £50.00. This frying pan is a professional 2mm thick copper pan with a cast iron handle. There are a few light surface scratches on the outer base from its time in a French home or restaurant and some internal scratches which have now been covered over with the new tin lining. This was purchased at a traditional French brocante market as is all our stock. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life.
