Vintage French Coffee Filters Holder, Ceramic Handmade Shabby Chic (B24)

This French brocante find is a charming French vintage hand made ceramic coffee filters holder, designed to be wall mounted. This is signed on the back by the maker/painter and says "fait main" which roughly translates as hand made. This unusual piece of kitchenalia would have hung on a wall in a French home, and with their renowned love of coffee, it will have been used daily. Although coffee pod machines are common now, most French homes still have a pot of coffee always ready in a drip machine which uses these paper filters. This would be a lovely decorative piece as well as useful for any coffee lover. It could be used for dried herbs or flowers, on just as a wall mounted letter holder. It would be ideal for a farmhouse or country cottage style kitchen.
