Chicken Pie Dish, Chicken Stew Pot, French Chicken Shape Casserole Pot, 2L (A52)

This is a French ceramic chicken pie dish or chicken stew pot. This is a 2 litre dish decorated with a chickens head which was bought in France from a traditional French brocante market. It is a used item in a good vintage condition as shown in the photos. It has no cracks just some casting flaws and a few marks to the outside base. This dish will not have a great deal of age, maybe 10+ years, it is vintage in style rather than age. This would be a super pot to serve a chicken recipe in. It would also look beautiful on any kitchen table or at a Sunday dinner. I have some similar dishes to this in the shape of a rabbit, also bought in France, see my website shop.
