This is a set of vintage taxidermy wild boar hoof hooks made from a pair of boar (Sanglier) hooves bought in France. These hooves are in a well used condition as shown with wear and deterioration, including a little damage and marks to the wooden mounts, as shown and reflected in the price. Whilst these originally used as gun racks in France they could also be used as an unusual set of coat hooks, a unique way to hold your umbrellas, hats or walking sticks in a hallway or would make a great gift for a hunting enthusiast. These are an authentic French brocante find bought from a traditional market on the North of France and are quite rustic in appearance, all part of their charm.
