This is a vintage French taxidermy Roe deer head mounted on a wooden plaque which was bought from a traditional French brocante market and is in a good used condition for its 50+ years. These are usually a full head and neck so this head only is quite an unusual example. This deer head would make a great gift for a deer hunting or hunting enthusiast or alternatively would be an unusual home decoration; these are often used as quirky hat racks!
