This charming vintage French taxidermy animal (possibly a mink/pole cat/pine marten etc, not sure which) is a lovely example of natural wildlife taxidermy art. Displayed on a rustic wooden mount with a gravel type base, this specimen has a lovely appeal with only light wear and tear from age; generally in a good condition. This has the usual signs of historic wood worm common to French timber but this has long gone. This will be at least 50 years old. Ideal for collectors or as a unique statement piece in any eclectic home, this taxidermy specimen not only serves as a conversation starter but also as a tribute to the art of vintage taxidermy.
