This is a vintage French taxidermy Roe deer head mounted on a wooden plaque bought from a traditional French brocante market in a used condition with some wear and tear as shown in the pictures, nothing that affects its appeal and nothing that can be seen when mounted but all worth a mention and reflected in the lower than usual selling price - see details below. This is a fairly lightweight specimen on a nice wooden plaque. The head is secure and the ears are complete. This deer head would make a great gift for a deer hunting or hunting enthusiast or alternatively would be an unusual home decoration; these are often used as quirky hat racks! Condition Details *The buds on the top of the head where the antlers form - one has some light damage as shown. *This is secure on its mount but as shown in the video it has some movement, not an issue when mounted, still very secure - but worth a mention *A little wear to the ears at the back as shown
