Stoneware German Beer Tankard, Vintage Kronenbourg 1964 Stein Mug, 1 litre (A43)

This is a vintage porcelain or stoneware beer stein with a decoration of a wine making scene. It has Kronenburg 1964 on the back as well as the name of the tavern it was made for; it also has the makers stamp on the base. This tankard was bought from a traditional French brocante market and is a large 1 litre size (approx 2 pints). This is in good used condition with no cracks, just some wear to the decoration on the rim, usual for older items, shown in the pictures and likely dating from around 1970/80s. This would look fabulous in any home bar or garden pub. this looks like porcelain as it has the smoother finish rather than the rustic stoneware finish of most steins, see pictures which form part of the description..
