French Vintage Chimney Vent Cover, Fleur de Lys, Fireplace Air Vent Brick (B43)

This is a charming and unusual French vintage cast iron fireplace or chimney air vent. This is made from cast iron with a Fleur de Lys pattern; the mesh and the front decoration are steel. As shown in the pictures and video this is in a good used condition with rusting and wear from its life in French home, and as you would expect from an old item, otherwise an in tact and solid piece. This is probably dates from 1970s if not a little earlier and is a sturdy piece weighing 3kg. This was purchased at a traditional French brocante market and would look great in any home, either as a fire brick/vent cover in a chimney or as a decorative vent in perhaps a pizza oven outside; there are various possibilities for this charming piece. As all the items we sell are used or vintage most will show signs of their previous life in a French home.
