French Taxidermy Badger Adult Mounted on a Log Base in Standing Position (B13)

This is a charming full mount badger on a large wooden log base in a natural walking pose.
This example was sourced in France from a traditional brocante market and is a European Badger, also known as the Eurasian badger, in the family Mustelidae which is native to almost all of Europe. This is a large heavy piece on a log. The log has the usual wood worm marks common to most wood from France. This is historic, has been treated and is long gone now. The badger is in a good used condition for a specimen at least 50 years old, as shown in the photos and the video and is designed to be freestanding when in situ. It does have a little hook at the back to enable it to be secured to a wall for extra security. This taxidermy specimen would make a statement in any home or would add value to a collection.
