French Pottery Stoneware Cherry Jar with Spoon Holder, Farmhouse Kitchen (A36)

This is a traditional French stoneware pottery cherry jar with a cork lid and side holes to hold a spoon in a rustic vintage style. Cerises is French for cherries. These vintage stoneware has a lovely rustic feel and would look great in any French style, country style, farmhouse or vintage inspired kitchen as well as on a home bar top. It has the makers mark on the base. This is in good condition with no cracks as shown in the photos. I would imagine these date from the 1970s by the style but it could be a little later/earlier. This was bought at a traditional French brocante market, as is all my stock and will have signs of a previous life, as such, if you are looking for brand new, then this may not be for you.
