French Hand Made Rustic Cheese Dome, Cheese Cloche, La Cave a Fromages (B86)

This is a charming French rustic stoneware cheese dome which is made by Tady of France. This is an artisan, handmade (Execute mains) piece which still has the original makers sticker on the front. This cheese cloche is in good condition and would look great on any home bar or party table. this is quite large for a cheese dome and has the words "La Cave a Fromages" which roughly translates as "Cheese cellar". The cork in the top has a void underneath which is most likely to place ice in so that the cheese stays cool. This was bought at a traditional French brocante fair and whilst not new, I cant be sure of its exact age. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, in the case of lights like these this may mean flaws in the glass during the making process, eg. bubbles. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
