This is a French copper CLAD aluminium oval fish frying pan or gratin pan. This copper pan is NOT a solid copper tin lined pan making it more affordable for everyday use or display. (see other listings for tin lined copper) Tin lined copper pans like this start at £79.99. This copper pan is priced to reflect that it is copper clad and are lightweight rather than tin lined and heavyweight, it weighs just 350 grammes. This has been polished and is in a lightly used condition with some internal marks inside, as shown in the photos which form part of the description. This is still very usable or great for a display. These type of clad pans are especially suitable for everyday use as they can be cleaned more easily and robustly than tin lined copper. This was purchased at a traditional French brocante market and would make a lovely addition to any kitchen. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of use which is part of their shabby chic/French appeal.
