French Cast Iron Enamelled Pot trivet made by Godin, Vintage Worktop Saver (A75)

This is a vintage cast iron enamelled trivet in a slate blue colour, made by the famous French stove makers Godin. Godin are renowned for quality cast iron enamel stoves and occasionally produced other pieces including trivets, magazine racks, coal hods etc for the home. This was bought from a traditional French market and likely dates to around the 1940s. This pan stand trivet is a well used item in vintage condition with signs of a previous life which give it a unique shabby chic appeal, some rusting underneath and a few marks as shown. It has metal feet which do not have rubber covers. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is all part of their unique shabby chic appeal.
