French 2mm Vintage Copper Pan, Mora Cie Copper Saucepan with new tin lining (A48)

This is a small French solid copper vintage handmade pan with an iron handle, chunky copper rivets the Mora Cie Paris makers stamp and a lovely, polished finish. There are some letters and numbers stamped on the pan, these will have been to identify the chef the pan belonged to in a professional kitchen, this is common practice in French kitchens. This splayed copper saucepan has now been refurbished with brand new tin lining. The brand new hand wiped tin lining makes it long lasting and gives this pan a "new to you" feel; you will be the first person to cook with this new lining. The new tin lining is traditionally applied using the age old hand wiping method, it is not machine applied electroplating and is ready to cook with straight away. Just to have a pan this size re-tinned would costs over £50.00. This sauce pan is made from professional 2mm thick French copper and weighs a hefty 1.1kg, quite heavy for an 16cm pan. This pan was purchased at a traditional French brocante market as is all our stock and has some marks and wear in keeping with its age.
