Set of 6 French Rustic Emile Henry Escargot Dishes, Vintage Snail Pots Plates (A25)

This is a set of 6 vintage Emile Henry escargot serving dishes with a handle and the makers stamp on the base of each one. Each of these vintage dishes is made from a brown colour ceramic stoneware and holds 6 escargots (snails). These could be used for serving cooked snails or are often used for quails egg dishes. These were purchased at a traditional French brocante market and would suit a retro style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or bistro. These are in a good used condition as shown. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
