French Rustic Emile Henry Escargot Plate, Vintage Snail Pot, Egg Plate (B17)

This is a vintage Emile Henry escargot serving plate with a handles and the makers stamp on the base. This vintage dish is made from a brown colour ceramic stoneware with a creamy coloured inside and holds 12 escargots (snails). This could be used for cooking and serving snails; these are often also used for quails egg dishes. This was purchased at a traditional French brocante market and would suit a retro style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or bistro. This is in a good used condition as shown in the pictures which form part of the description. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life.
