This is a set of vintage taxidermy deer hoof hooks made from 2 pairs of Roe deer hooves bought in France. These deer hooves are in good used condition with some light signs of wear to a couple of the hooves' they have the usual musty/smoky aroma of most French taxidermy, this will fade with a good airing. These could be used as an unusual set of coat hooks, a unique way to hold your umbrellas, hats or walking sticks in a hallway or would make a great gift for a deer hunting or hunting enthusiast. These are an authentic French brocante find bought from a traditional market on the North of France and are quite rustic in appearance, all part of their charm. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life which is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
