This is a set of 6 vintage ceramic escargot serving dishes with a handle. Each of these vintage dishes is made from a brown colour ceramic stoneware and holds 6 escargots (snails). They could be used for serving cooked snails or are often used for quails egg dishes. These were purchased at a traditional French brocante market and would suit a retro style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or bistro. These are in a good used condition as shown with no chips. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
