French Vintage Linen Embroidered Square Pillowcase, Cushion Case, 4 available (C86)

This is a vintage large square embroidered pillowcase or cushion cover in an envelope style bought from a traditional French brocante market. These each have a Fleurs de Lys type symbol and a border embroidered around the edge in white cotton and also have the traditional French laundry ticket number on the inside (244). They are cream/off white in colour, are quite thick linen and are a large nearly square shape. They are sold as we bought them so will need laundering as they have been stored for some time and have some marks, a few of which are shown in the photos which form part of the description. These would be great to use for sewing projects as they are actually pillowcases so have double the quantity of material as opposed to just a cloth piece or tea towel.
