Copper and Brass Kitchen Tap, Belfast Sink Tap, Industrial Farmhouse, Extra Tall (T44)

This is a beautiful single (one tap) hand made copper and brass tap which has been water pressure tested. This has chunky 22mm copper pipework, a 3/4 inch brass tap head and fittings. This is much sturdier and has a chunkier feel than our 1/2 inch taps. This comes supplied with 3 fitting screws and would look fabulous with any Belfast sink or alongside the French copper and brass bathroom/kitchen basin sinks on our other listings. This has been well made and has a nicely polished finish. This has a standard 15mm copper pipe fitting below making it suitable for kitchen sinks and bathroom basins. This may not be suitable for some baths as inlet connections can be different. Check with your plumber or message for advice if this is intended for a bath. All the taps we sell are rustic in design and do not have aerators so the flow of water is a continuous stream similar to that of an outdoor tap.

FITTING: All the taps we sell are fixed by screws from the top, not from a nut underneath, so may not be suitable for a quartz, granite, slate or marble top. They are suitable for wooden and laminate worktops. Please check with your fitter or message for advice before buying any of our taps if you are unsure. If this is unsuitable, can I return it for a refund?
-Yes, if this is unsuitable we are happy to accept returns as long as the tap is unfitted and in its original condition. However, as this is made to order, rather than a stock held item, we are only a small business so would appreciate if you could be as sure as you can before ordering and would encourage you to ask for advice if you are unsure in order to keep our costs and losses to a minimum.

These measurements are not suitable for me, can this be made to my own measurements?

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the Copper Sinks and Taps section of our shop where you will find 4 or 5 different styles including single and pairs of pillar taps, more wall mounted taps as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

What size are the taps you sell?
-Please see measurements on the photographs in the listing for exact sizes.

What size is the water inlet pipework for your taps?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe below the counter where the water is connected. Although this has exposed 22mm chunky pipework, the inlet is still 15mm.

Can this tap be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, this tap does not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. This is designed to fit onto a countertop. It is fitted by screwing the brass base into the top of the counter using the screws provided not from a back nut underneath.

Is this tap suitable for a bath?
-This tap will be suitable for some baths, although this style are generally sold for basins and sinks as they have a water inlet pipe which is 15mm. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath.

Can this tap be fitted to a quartz, slate or marble type counter top?
-No, this cannot be fitted to this type of worktop as tit is fitted from above and these type of countertops would not take the small drill holes required. We are looking to develop a tap for these types of tops but this is still in the design stage.

Can the taps you sell be fitted in a camper van?
-Yes all our taps can be fitted in a camper van, we have sold many of these for camper van and horse box conversions. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join these to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use this as an outdoor tap?
-Yes, this tap is suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect this to my water inlet under my sink or basin?
-This is sold as a complete tap fitting which has the standard UK 15mm copper pipe (tail ends) attached below the counter where it is fitted. Your water inlet pipe can be attached to these tail end by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitments.

How often will I need to polish my tap to keep it shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 3-5 days. However, this can occasionally vary as we travel between the UK and France regularly between April-October. Please check the listing for an up-to-date delivery estimate. Contact us via online contact form or via live chat before buying if your order is urgent as these can also often be sent earlier especially when we are home in the Winter full time. All our taps are posted by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or 24 if urgent.
