Vintage Rosti Mepal Pan Lid & Plate Rack - Original Retro Shop Display Stand

A genuine vintage Rosti Mepal freestanding kitchen rack, originally used as a shop display stand for the brand’s range of pan trivets. Sourced from a French brocante market, this is a rare and characterful piece of functional design history.

Made to hold trivets in-store, the rack works beautifully today as a pan lid stand, plate rack or kitchen chopping board organiser, particularly in a retro, country cottage or mid-century inspired kitchen. It is fairly lightweight at 650 grams.

The original Rosti Mepal logo plaque remains intact on the front, showing light wear consistent with age and original commercial use. The rest of the rack is in good vintage condition.

Rosti was founded in Copenhagen in 1944, later forming Rosti-Mepal in the Netherlands after a merger in the 1950s. The company split in the early 2000s, making earlier branded pieces increasingly collectable.
