Vintage French Kitchen Jug, Green Irrigator, Garden Planter, Plant Pot (C93)

This is a lovely French measuring water pot which would look great in a kitchen or garden. These are usually white or speckled with blue so this green colour is one of the more unusual colours these pots are found in. These vintage enamel pots were originally used as irrigators but are now widely collected and used as garden planters or as kitchen or bathroom storage pots. This was purchased at a traditional brocante market in France and is one of the older styles of these pots, at least 80 years old if not older. As shown in the photo this is in a vintage condition with signs of wear and tear. All the items I sell are used or vintage and show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
