Vintage French Enamel Bucket & Lid, Nappy Bucket, Kitchen Pot 1940/50s (C78)

This is a lovely vintage French enamel bucket and lid with a handle. This delightful piece of French enamelware was bought at a traditional French brocante market and is in a WELL USED condition with SIGNS OF WEAR, as shown including some RUST PATCHES especially on the underside of the lid and to the rim. This is reflected on the price. However, for its age (it will date from 1940s/50s) this is still a usable piece of history. This bucket is a caramel colour with a wooden handle and is free from leaks: it has many uses including as a nappy bucket, garden pot, vegetable storage. bread bin, coal bucket. ash container, camping potty etc. the list goes on. These are usually found in an unusable state from years of use in a French household but this still has plenty of life left in it. these are most commonly found in white so this is quite unusual in its colour.
