Set of 10 Vintage French Ceramic Escargots Snail Shells, Ideal as Butter Pots (C43)

This is an unusual set of 10 ceramic escargots (snail) serving pots. These are in a good condition and sit flat on a table or plate. These are all beige in colour, they each vary in shade, slightly as does ceramicware. These were bought from a French restaurant and I have a number of other sets of these style of pots in different designs. These can be used to cook the snails in and then for serving as they are oven to table ceramic shells. These would be fabulous for any lover of escargots, or equally great for use in a restaurant or cafe or as individual butter or dipping sauce pots. Equally they could be used as little place settings or just as decoration. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
