This is a vintage French taxidermy Roe deer head mounted on a wooden plaque with the taxidermy stamp on the back. This taxidermy specimen was bought from a traditional French brocante market and is a mounted head on a wooden mount in a good used condition. This is a professionally mounted example on a quality wooden plaque. The head is secure and the ears are complete. This deer head would make a great gift for a deer hunting or hunting enthusiast or alternatively would be an unusual home decoration; these are often used as quirky hat racks!
