This is a vintage French taxidermy Roe deer head with emerging antlers bought from a traditional French brocante market. This taxidermy deer is a mounted head example is in a used condition as shown in the photos with some WEAR TO THE EARS and the usual separation; there is some water marks to the wooden mount. The head is secure with just a little gap at the back neck but no movement of the head. it has the slight musty aroma of most French taxidermy, usual from storage, this fades as it is aired out on display. This is an old vintage piece, NOT A NEW PRISTINE ITEM and is priced to reflect the condition. This deer head would make a great gift for a deer hunting or hunting enthusiast or alternatively would be an unusual home decoration.
