Set of 6 Vintage Emile Henry Escargot Dishes, Brown Stoneware Snail Pots (A86)

This is a complete set of 6 Vintage Emile Henry escargot serving dishes with two handles. Each of these vintage dishes is made from brown ceramic stoneware and holds 12 escargots (snails). These could be used for serving cooked snails or are often used for quails egg dishes. This set was purchased at a French brocante market and would suit a retro style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or cafe. These are in a good used condition with just some light marks on some of the dishes as shown and usual for older items. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
