Bareuther Waldsassen Mazagran Tea, Coffee Cups, Pot & Tray, Hunting Scene (A65)

This is a set of 6 beautiful French mazagran beakers each with a different hunting scene. These sit with a matching coffee pot on a porcelain tray. In France, traditionally, they are used to serve tea or coffee and are often decorated with hunting or wildlife scenes. This set was made by Bareuther Waldsassen but also has the French porcelain stamp so most likely made or designed by Bareuther using French porcelain from St Amand. The set would make a lovely gift for a keen hunting enthusiast. This set was purchased at a traditional French brocante market as is all my stock. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
