Set of 4 French Lions Head Soup Bowls and 4 litre Serving Tureen Bowl (A60)

This is a set of 4 French traditional small soup serving dishes with little lions head handles traditionally used for serving French onion soup. This includes 4 matching smaller bowls in an orange brown colour and a larger 4 litre serving tureen, very similar although a slightly lighter shade. These ceramic soup bowls were purchased at a traditional French brocante market and would suit a French style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or bistro. We also have some more plain white lions head soup bowls in the same style as this on our other listings. These are in a good used condition with no chips or cracks just some minor casting flaws and the usual crackling of the glaze for older pieces. The white marks on the pictures are just light reflections as the bowls are glossy. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life.
