French Knife Rests and Table Place Settings, Shabby Chic Cermaic, Set of 7

This is a lovely set of 7 French knife rests/place name settings. These knife rests are ceramic and would look lovely at any dinner party. Names can be written on with a felt pan and wiped off again. This set and was purchased at a French brocante market as is all my stock and as such I cannot be sure of their exact age, just that they are not new. In France cutlery is often kept to use at more than one course so these rests allow for a cleaner tablecloth. These have some wear and they are best described as rustic rather than pristine factory finished, they are all a little different as they are probably hand painted and some of the paint is wearing a little. These would look super on any dinner table. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
