French Vintage Pendant Lightshade, White Opaline Coolie Light Shade (B14)

This is a French vintage opaline glass coolie pendant light now up cycled with new twisted vintage style wiring with a vintage brass gallery and a new UK standard bulb holder. This vintage coolie pendant light is in a good used condition with just a little chip to the edge as shown. This is very hard to see, you can just feel it on the rim, not visible once fitted but worth a mention and sold at a reduced price to reflect this. It is made from white milky glass with a clear rim known as a pie crust light or coolie light. This is not a factory made shade, it is hand made so may have some bubbles and light marks in the glass from the making process, these are not cracks. There are the usual few nibbles to the top section under the brass fitment. It was bought at a French brocante market. This does not come with a ceiling rose. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, in the case of lights like these this may mean flaws in the glass during the making process, eg. bubbles. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
