French Vintage Handmade Cheese Plates by Longchamps Decor, 6 Cheese Plates (B90)

This is a lovely set of French 6 Les Fromages plates (cheese) handmade by Longchamps Decor. These will probably date from 1960s if not earlier. each plate has a different region of France and a picture of the cheeses in that region. Longchamp is a town in Burgandy that owes its reputation to the famous pottery and tile factory founded in 1832. The factory is no longer operative but there is a famous school of ceramics. These plates are handmade and were bought at a traditional French brocante market, they are in a good used condition with some of the usual surface glaze cracking. This cheese plate set would look great on any dinner table.
