French Taxidermy Ferret, Stoat, Weasel, Vintage Taxidermy Specimen (A15)

This vintage French taxidermy ferret, stoat or weasel type animal, not sure which, is a fairly rustic example of natural wildlife art. Displayed on a rustic wooden branch/twig mount with a wooden base; this specimen has a lovely appeal but does have some wear and deterioration as detailed below and is priced to reflect this - this would be an ideal restoration piece.
CONDITION - This taxidermy specimen was bought from a traditional French brocante market and is designed to be freestanding; it is in a well used condition for its 50+ year age as shown in the photos with signs of wear and tear'

• Rustic and matted tail
• small split to the front leg
• split to the body although this is hidden when in situ
• little deterioration to the ears
