French Opaline Glass Coolie Shade, Vintage Pendant Lampshade, New Fittings (C5)

This is a French vintage opaline glass coolie pendant light now up cycled with new brown twisted vintage style wiring, with a vintage brass gallery and a new UK standard brass bulb holder. This vintage coolie pendant light is in a used condition with no chips or cracks and is made from thicker glass than the usual ones of these that I sell. It is white milky glass with a clear rim known as a pie crust light, opaline light or coolie light. This is not a factory made shade. There are the usual nibbles to the top section under the brass fitment, as shown. This was bought at a traditional French brocante market. This does not come with a ceiling rose. See the lighting section of our shop for vintage porcelain French ceiling roses. This can be wired straight into an existing ceiling rose. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, in the case of lights like these this may mean flaws in the glass during the making process, eg. bubbles.
