French Majolica Ceramic Apple Pie Dish with Lid, Apple Pie Baking or Serving Dish (B28)

This is an unusual French Majolica style ceramic apple pie dish with a decorated lid. This is a lidded dish decorated with apples which was bought in France from a traditional French brocante market and is a used item in a good vintage condition as shown in the photos with a few nibbles here and there as shown, and to be expected from a used item. This has the makers stamp on the base and would look beautiful on any kitchen table or tea party. It is ideal for using the base to bake the pie and then adding the lid to serve it at the table or to keep it covered when its not all eaten.
