French 3mm Vintage Copper Pan, Splayed Copper Saucepan, with new tin lining (C8)

This is a French solid copper pan with an iron handle, the Made in France stamp and a lovely, polished finish. This splayed copper saucepan is in a good used condition as shown in the photos with the usual marks from use to the base as shown and usual for a used pan. This splayed copper saucepan has now been refurbished with brand new tin lining. The brand new hand wiped tin lining makes it long lasting and gives this pan a "new to you" feel; you will be the first person to cook with this new lining. The new tin lining is traditionally applied using the age old hand wiping method, it is not machine applied electroplating and is ready to cook with straight away. Just to have a pan this size re-tinned would costs over £70.00. This sauce pan is made from professional 3mm thick French copper and weighs a hefty 1.9kg, quite heavy for an 20cm pan. It has the chefs initial of L stamped on the side, common in French restaurants as chefs buy and retain their own pans when they move between jobs. This pan was purchased at a traditional French brocante market as is all my stock. All the items I sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life.
