British WW1 Brass Fuse Paperweight, Brass WW1 Fuse (M5)

This is a WW1 British brass fuse sourced from the Somme region in France. This is probably a number 100 or 103. the markings have rubbed off with age making the numbers difficult to read. It is numbered in 2 places, one reads No 10- and the last part is missing and the other section reads number 15. This has been used so will show impact damage and would be an interesting piece of history to own direct from the Battlefields of the Somme. I have a number of fuses available in the militaria section of my shop including both German and British pieces. This would make an unusual paperweight as it weighs a hefty 0.85kg or would be a great gift for a militaria collector.
