Antique Wall Mounted French Brass Chrome Taps Ceramic Inserts, by Mingori (A92)

This is a pair of antique French wall mounted bath taps with ceramic inserts reading hot and cold in French. This set was bought in France from a traditional French brocante market and is in an original vintage condition. These will date from around 1920s/30s and are made by the French company Mingori of Burgandy, established in 1897 and attaining acclaim in France in 1923 when Cesar Mingori invented the thermostatic mixer. They have been tested and are in full working order. These would have originally been wall mounted for a bath but could be used for a kitchen or bathroom sink. The water inlet is a 3/4 inch male thread, adaptors are readily available at any plumbing shop to scale this to 22mm or 15mm which are the 2 standard UK water inlet sizes.
